I find one of the easiest changes for me to make occurs in the kitchen. Getting into the kitchen would be step 1. Over the past few years I’ve went from living on sidekicks, mr. noodle, processed frozen food or sandwiches to almost eliminating processed foods altogether and learning how to make everything from scratch. Now I can throw together a healthy vegetarian meal in less than 15 minutes. Not only can you avoid processed foods which are bad for your health it’s also good for the environment! Less processing = less resources being used to make the food, package the food, and transport that food. Taking control of your food and making environmentally friendly choices can be the easiest most efficient way to be eco-friendly and you’ll become a fabulous cook at the same time.
